ISAT U Dumangas Campus received two (2) Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) during the ISO Audit on Quality Management System, November 21-22, 2022. The visit was the 1st Surveillance Audit on ISO 9001-2015 in SY 2022-2023 and it was conducted by the NQA Philippines.
The team was headed by Mr. Rannie Bernardino, CEO of NQA Philippines and with him were auditors Dr. Mark Anthony Vera and Capt. Dante Bo. The two-day surveillance audit was conducted to the whole ISAT U System with the campuses in Miagao, Leon, Barotac Nuevo, Dumangas, and La Paz.
The audit was anchored on the following objectives: (1) To confirm that the management system had been established, implemented and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the audit standards; (2) To evaluate the ability of the management system to ensure the client organization meet applicable statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements; (3) To evaluate the effectiveness of the management system to ensure it is continually meeting its specific objectives; and (4) To identify as applicable, areas of the management system for potential improvement.
During the closing meeting, NQA Auditors announced that ISAT U passed the surveillance audit despite few doable non-conformances and observations raised across colleges and satellite campuses of the university.
The Dumangas Campus got OFIs on its Need to provide list of equipment for calibration and Need to include all vehicles in the preventive maintenance schedule.
The university has received its last Re-certification status on ISO 9001-2015 on Quality Management System after the November 10-11, 2021 audit by NQA Philippines.
